was paid in advance via the credit card. And had to pay again on site with 2 small children, otherwise they would not let us in the room. for a 5 star venue a very bad style. we will not book it anymore

Definitely eat at the Vinkeles! A fantastic dining experience worth every dollar.
The breakfast service in the Occo is very unorganized. 20 minutes of waiting time is unacceptable.

We got an upgrade, got a suite. The hotel in general is just wonderful, the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Everything was very comfortably furnished with great taste. You just feel comfortable. Also the Michelin star restaurant Vinkeles is highly recommended, of course with a previous reservation, as it is small but extremely comfortable and in summer there is a very nice courtyard. All in all a feast for the eyes.
Maybe the shower was a bit puny, everything else wonderful

We arrived at 10 am and got the room only at 2 pm. That’s not the hotel’s fault- they were fully booked but an early check in would have been great after such a long flight

The hotels position on the Keisergracht was a very nice quiet part of Amsterdam , yet only a few minutes walk to the city centre. Staff all very friendly , especially Jeffrey and all concierge staff. The Vinkeles restaurant was superb. Very enjoyable stay
